comment créer un tableau de visualisation pour booster votre créativité

How to create a vision board to boost your creativity

Creating your own vision board is a therapeutic creative process in itself. It's the perfect step before starting your 30-day challenge, as it will serve as a visual reminder of your intentions.

Here's how to make your own, step by step:

1. The basic support and equipment

No need to spend a lot (we respect your budget!).

  • Support: A cork board (like in the picture), a large piece of rigid cardboard, or even a wooden frame that you no longer need.

  • Tools: Pushpins (if it's cork), glue stick, scissors, and maybe some drawing clips.

  • The "ambiance" touch: If you have a small string of lights lying around, it adds that "magical" and warm aspect.

2. Image and texture collection

This is where you define your universe. Look for elements that resonate with you:

  • Magazines and newspapers: Cut out colors, landscapes or objects that inspire you.

  • Natural elements: Dried leaves, pressed flowers or small pieces of wood (very "Land Art").

  • Fabric samples: Bits of wool, velvet or linen to add tactile depth.

  • Your own sketches: Add pages from your sketchbook or quick drafts.

3. Words of power

A good vision board needs textual anchor points.

  • Quotes: Print or handwrite phrases like "The world is your canvas" or "Explore" .

  • Affirmations: Simple words: Dare, Create, Breathe, Discipline.

  • Style: Varys the writing styles (thick black felt-tip pen, fine calligraphy, or cut-out letters in newspaper style).

4. Composition (The artistic stage)

Don't stick anything on yet!

  • Layout: Place your elements on the support. Try to create a balance between dense areas and more open areas.

  • Layering: Don't hesitate to overlap a photo onto a piece of fabric or a quote onto an image. This creates depth.

  • The center: Often place the most inspiring element for you in the middle (like the hand painting the rainbow in the image).

5. Activation

Once everything is settled:

  • Location: Hang it in a place where you will see it every day (your desk area or near your bed).

  • Evolution: A vision board is never truly finished. You can add a special element after each success in your 30-day challenge.
